Whether you live too far away to travel for an In-Person Workshop or Retreat or you just want to explore creating from the comfort of your own home, online learning is a great way to make art with me!
There are recorded, self-study workshops and courses that you can purchase as well as two annual, online “Hybrid” courses (Winter Wonderland runs February and March, Creative Summer Camp runs June, June and August) that take place live, in real time, and also provide recordings, weekly emails, a private classroom and more. Boho Hearts Workshop
Four, recorded lessons to create a series of six, colorful heart-themed pieces of original mixed media art in a fun, unique way!
Work on paper, canvas or wood— you might want to try them all!— and follow along with this step-by-step workshop that also explores creating color harmony, layering and working in a series. All skill levels. Unlimited access for one year.

SUPPLIES:
• Six, small square substrates, 3x3” - 5x5”, paper, canvas or wood.
• Gesso — if you are using board— and painter’s tape to cover edges.
• Six Fluid acrylics in any colors - these can be mixed from primaries - plus a white, and an iridescent/metallic (optional).
• 1 - 6 Heavy Body acrylics in any colors.
• A variety of smaller paintbrushes, including a flat, a round and a “liner” (optional), a “fan” (optional), and dot tools/stylus
• Book(s) or magazines to cut words from (optional) and glue stick or matte medium to adhere.
• Pintar or Posca Acrylic Markers (optional)

A RECORDED SELF-STUDY COURSE
Three, jam-packed modules focusing on foundational experiences that help us understand what we love by exploring simple things like materials, technique, line, shape and color. This course is about how we become our creative selves, how our choices and movements become instinctive and uniquely ours and how we keep growing and evolving artistically over time.
The exercises are intentionally open-ended to inform us what we love about our supplies, the movements and marks of our hands and our own preferences, and the Projects combine what we’ve learned into processes that combine this knowledge and experience. Exciting and unexpected outcomes come from trying new techniques, tools and materials, and slowing way down to experience and notice really small things.
This is a course for ALL skill and artistic levels.
About Online “Hybrid” Courses
Let’s make a beautiful mess together!
Each year, I offer two, live series courses, Winter Wonderland (February and March) and Creative Summer Camp (June - August). These are live, group Zoom sessions designed to spark curiosity about a vast array of acrylic materials, to encourage experimentation with lots of techniques and to develop or evolve your unique, artistic style through playful approaches.
Sessions are recorded to view or review in your own time, weekly prompts and exercises keep you in the creative flow, and a supportive and energetic private Facebook Group provides a community to share and ask questions.
Each course is independent of each other and you need not have attended a previous one to join. These courses are for all artistic skill levels, however, basic understanding of acrylics is recommended.
